Blues fest: letter in the Northern Star
Aug 16:
In regards to your story about an arts venue in Byron: I would like to say Byron Bay is certainly in need of an arts venue but certainly not one that puts on music festivals that make a lot of money for people who put nothing back into the town. All they seem to want is to take, and for Peter Noble I think it's basically a way for him to make a lot of money and take it out of the town and not give anything back. There is nothing art about Peter Noble or the people he works with. True artists starve up here because there is nothing for them, and certainly music festivals don't provide arts to the area. I think the whole article is basically in-correct. John Balson, Mullumbimby.
