TYAGARAH LANDCARE NETWORKING MEETING ON MONDAY 11TH JUNE
AIM:
To bring together all interested locals, via Gondwana grapevine and noticeboard and the mailing list of the Tyagarah Sustainable Community Alliance, to share what we are all doing about landcare and wildlife promotion.

VENUE:Gondwana Meditation Hall
TIME: 11am Monday 11th June (public holiday)

FORMAT:

Before lunch:
Talks and project sharings in which each individual or group has a chance to speak for a few minutes on what they are doing for landcare in Tyagarah, what they hope to achieve, what they are most interested in and how they go about doing it. They are encouraged to bring species lists they are using, maps and aerial photos of the area showing catchments, water bodies, roads, vegetation and property boundaries, before-and-after photographs, landscaping designs and any other materials that help us to build up a picture of our patch of Earth and the progress we are making on it.

Lunch - vegetarian BYO BBQ:
Networking, as everyone eats and chats and looks at each other's materials, discusses them, shares ideas, information, seeds, references, contacts, etc. Write out conclusions on big sheet of paper to assist person giving the summary as follows.

After lunch:
Summary - someone will give an overview of the meeting, summarizing the current status of our landcare, what we have achieved, what we are not doing and need to incorporate into our programs, any ideas for major group projects, etc.

Gondwana landcare walk for those who are interested and can stay on - come and see what we are doing on the ground and share ideas.

Additional Notes:
1. A list of attendees and contact details will be made for future networking.
2. People are encouraged to bring cards with their details and interests on them to give out
3. People need to prepare their stuff in advance to bring for the meeting.
4. Can someone supply a BBQ?
5. Suggestion for the future - other residents with properties that they are working on could hold meetings like this one on their land too.
